FLEMINGTON - DERBY DAY - 1st Nov 2014 Cup Week is here! The weather is windy and blowy and drizzling and a bit crappy, but probably not as bad as was expected. Not that much rain, track is still a GOOD(3) and it should only be showers for the rest of the day. With the track staying firm it may tend towards on pacers, though that will depend if the wind lessens off or not. So here is your chance to kick off your Cup Week in style, post your own tips and comments and thoughts below. Who do you like in the Derby? We actually have a pretty good record in the Derby, and it is a race we normally love to bet in, but really struggled this year chopping and changing between about five runners. Excellent days racing, some of these fields are just ridiculous, especially the Coolmore Stud Stakes, which is going to be a great spectacle down the straight.
