FLOOD UPDATE 11:50 pm Thursday... Update from Aroostook County EMA Route 161 St. John/St. Francis Now Passable We just received a report that Route 161 through St. John and St. Francis is now officially open. The river water in that area appears to have dropped several feet at this time. However, Maine DOT and Law Enforcement encourage motorists to be cautious traveling this roadway. We have also received reports from concerned citizens regarding ice flow below the International Bridge in Fort Kent. Both Maine DOT and local authorities are monitoring the situation but at this time there are no issues.
