Issue Number: 11 Minor to moderate flood levels continue along the Diamantina River upstream of Birdsville. Minor to moderate flood levels continue to ease upstream of Diamantina Lakes. Minor flood levels continue at Monkira as upstream flood water arrives. Predicted River Heights/Flows: DIAMANTINA RIVER at: BIRDSVILLE: River level rises above the minor flood level (4.0 metres) are not expected at this stage. Forecasts for Birdsville will be updated as upstream peaks are recorded. Remember: If its flooded, forget it.
