In washington... Ferry...Lincoln...Pend oreille...Spokane and stevens. * Through friday morning * A mild and moist weather pattern is expected through the work week with warming temperatures and snow melt at low and mid elevations. A pair of wet storm systems will bring the potential for some moderate to heavy rainfall. Northeast washington and the idaho panhandle will receive the brunt of this rain mainly from wednesday morning through thursday night where total rainfall amounts of up to 1 to 1.5 inches are possible. Meanwhile the upper columbia basin and spokane/coeur d`alene area can anticipate 0.50 to 1 inch of rain through this period. * Moderate to heavy rain and melting snow are expected to cause rises to many area rivers and small streams. This could lead to some storm water flooding...As well as mud slides or debris flows. Frozen soils across the area will also result in poor water infiltration that will likely increase the potential for flooding...Especially for urban and low lying areas.
