FLORENCE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE NEEDS YOUR HELP IN IDENTIFYING SUSPECTS Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office need your help in identifying potential suspects in a recent purse-snatching incident in Florence County. According to Investigators, the incident occurred on August 5, 2013 at approximately 9:19 AM at a store located at 3315 West Palmetto Street. Investigators allege that an elderly female victim, who was shopping in the store, was approached by a female subject and distracted while a male suspect took her purse from a shopping cart. Both suspects then left the store before the victim knew her pocketbook was missing. Investigators further allege that the victim’s credit card was used shortly after the incident to purchase goods at a nearby filling station. Surveillance video inside the store shows what Investigators believe to be the male and female suspects walking out of the store (see photograph attached). The suspects are a black male wearing a white shirt and a black female wearing a dark top.
