FLORIDA PYTHON: South Florida police on Friday captured a 12-foot, 120-pound Burmese python suspected of gobbling up some cats in the Port St. Lucie neighborhood. The python was found in waist-high brush by officers who responded to residents reports of a large snake on the loose. A dead cat was found in a nearby empty lot.
