FNX- First Nations Experience. A new television channel that presents a true voice of Native American and indigenous communities across the globe The FNX television channel presents Native American stories and content to create a diverse and entertaining channel across all media platforms 24/7. The unique non-profit channel is the result of a shared vision and values between the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians and PBS/KVCR both located in San Bernardino, California. FNX Channel illustrates the healthy, positive, and real lives and cultures of Native American and indigenous people around the world showcasing TV series, documentaries, short films, PSAs, and films in the categories of lifestyle, children’s, drama, comedy, sports, music, art, dance, politics, news, social, cooking, health, animation, fitness, talk show, nature, and gardening. All encapsulating a true voice of Native American and indigenous communities across the globe. FNX is currently available on VerizonFios (channel 471), DirecTV (channel 24.2), and locally (channel 24.2) in the greater Los Angeles area with an average of 2 million viewers and over 500 hours of programming. FNX features FNX NOW, a series presenting current and relevant news topics covering all the Native American tribes across southern California, The HUB and On Native Ground, a series showcasing Native American artist, entertainers, cultural dancers, pop culture, and filmmakers. Currently, there are several documentaries in development and production. FNX provides a foundation for original programming, entertainment, and stories ready for development, production, and the potential for world distribution. Our offices provide a 1,500 square foot studio, multiple editing bays, ADR booths, a TV/film acquisitions team, visual effects artists, in house producers and programmers, a master broadcast control room, a radio station, a broadcast server housing our library of FNX content, and most of all, year round sunny weather. We work with local and Canadian producers, writers, talent, and directors who infuse a blend of real, intriguing, and an all-around positive image of Native Americans and indigenous people and cultures to bring you entertaining stories.
