FOI On Contract Scam: Ogun State Govt under Fire in Court *For Refusing To Give Information On Contract Scam Following the refusal of the Ogun State government to give access to Adekoya Boladale, a Nigerian Citizen, Businessman and indigene of Ogun State who demanded for certain information which is in the custody and possession of the ministry of finance using the Freedom of Information Act; they have been taken to court. The court paper which was obtained by Elombah is between Adekoya and the State governor alongside his Commissioners in the Ministry of Works and Finance respectively. The case which is before the Federal High Court, Abeokuta has an order granting leave to Adekoya to apply to the court to force the State to comply with him and give him all information needed. There was also a grant of order of Adekoya demanding N500,000 from the State, each being penalty for their default in making available documents needed by him.
