Let it be very clear that whatever challenges you have in life, whatever questions you seek answers for, and whatever cross you carry, those trying times are primarily yours to deal with. Your pastor will pray for you, your friends will sympathize with you, your blood-brother may even offer reliefs that may come in different shapes, but they don’t owe you; you owe yourself. Your salvation is individualized, and you need to work it out by yourself. The lepers in 2nd Kings 7 were at an intersection of life, and they made a true assessment of where they were; vs. 4: “If we say, we will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: And if we sit still here, we die also...now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die..” You owe yourself that much to make a true assessment of where you are; then you move. If you don’t move, the problems will not either. Your Red Sea will not part until you lift a rod and stretch your hand over it; and your body may not be healed of leprosy until you wash in River Jordan like Naaman. If you know that God has destined you to be a success in life, this is the season you must step out so you can step up. SMACKDOWN STRAIGHTUP TALK!!!
