FOLKS: While I do NOT KNOW what happened in Ferguson, as well as - TopicsExpress

FOLKS: While I do NOT KNOW what happened in Ferguson, as well as many others, I am left with questions; disturbing questions. For example, WHY did the prosecutor not believe these witnesses - whom I might add, had absolutely nothing to gain - when they indicate Mike Brown was not a threat and their testimony squares with other witnesses describing Mr. Brown as submitting, giving up; if you will? Sadly, it sounds to me as though the prosecutor provided only those witnesses who confirmed the officers version of events to offer Grand Jury testimony. Where were THESE witnesses? What made their testimony unbelievable and how did it not square with the physical evidence? They were looking directly at Mike Brown when the shots were fired! Second, with indictments being issued in 99.9% of all cases, why is it that THIS one, which appears to be so cut and dry, did not proceed to trial. Lest you forget: The Grand Jurys sole responsibility is NOT to determine guilt or innocence, but to simply establish whether probable cause exists; perhaps the lowest bar needed to overcome in our legal system. The very fact that there are differing versions circulating as to what took place that fateful day, tells ME, at least, that an indictment would have been in order to clarify, challenge, and force answers that will in no wise be found now. Third, make no mistake: I am not arguing that the police officer - Darren Wilson - is guilty; but simply making an argument that at minimum, probable cause did exist and now that family will never know the full truth of what exactly happened to their son. The witnesses in this video below, had absolutely nothing to gain (since they were not even from the area and in addition, did NOT want to be involved in the matter). Something will always disturb me about this sad event! Always! youtu.be/x8L3iAOy_5g
