FOLLOW UP. I discovered that my DVR was still recording MSNBC so I was able to rewind it and record the two instances when Antonio French was identified in the AUDIO as being a REPRESENTATIVE of Ferguson, while on the screen he was identified as ST. LOUIS ALDERMAN, 21st WARD. Of course, people not familiar with the political makeup of the area might think the21st Ward is in Ferguson. The first mention is at the very beginning when the unseen reporter introduced him while he was on the phone. Antonio made no effort to correct her. The second time was around 3:44 after he had hung up and was no longer on the air. The rest of the video consists of him giving get her an account of his participation with other government officials, ministers and community activists about what they are doing. Like I said a short while ago, Im not knocking his efforts, because he was on the scene way ahead of people who represent the area. Or at least he was on the news before they were. But Antonio has to know that there are people who consider him to be an opportunist in a negative rather than a positive manner.
