FOLLOWING THE SHEPHERD Today’s Journal: John 10:27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. Message: Today’s journal Jesus pointed out three significant characteristic of a flock that He is expecting for a true follower. Here He described His sheep as people who listened to Him, whom He knew, and who followed Him. Promise: What a wonderful and reassuring passage this is to the true believer. The Lord Jesus is telling that those who are His are His for all eternity. He is holding them in His hand and is caring for those that the Father has given Him. Warning: Listening is not enough, we must learn to follow and obedience. Command: Today make it a point that as we hear His word, as we hear the voice of our Good Shepherd we will follow to the end. Make sure that we are His sheep. Application: Do you yearn to hear the voice of the shepherd more clearly? Then live close to the Shepherd and choose to follow Him today.
