FOOD ON THE GO Thanks to one of our facebook friends Angela for this time-saving tip of how to finely chop food when out and about. Here is a little of what she had to say: We have discovered for using both at home and any where else there is a Tupperware device called a Smooth Chopper (larger bowl version) or Turbo Chef (small bowl version). Angelas daughter needs food to be finely chopped, it saves so much time cutting, fork mashing etc. Instead, you put the food in the bowl & pull a string a few times, a bit like a salad spinner. This rotates a blade which quickly chops the food. Weve found it invaluable when travelling or even just going out to a restaurant. It doesnt needs batteries or any other form of power. I guess the only downside is that the blade wouldnt be allowed in cabin baggage so couldnt actually be used on a flight.
