FOOD TIP: Idk if its a haitian thing or a Caribbean thing; but this is one reason why it takes forever to cook haitian food, because we thoroughly clean our meat, rice, vegetables whatever it is we clean it like really really clean it. If you notice when it comes to meat especially chicken, our (Haitians) chicken is always NAKED. This is why, theres fat, grease, slimy disgusting things that are not good for your health when it comes to cooking/eating. Yes people cook but not EVERYONE knows how to cook! Forget it tasting good, was it clean good? STOP LEAVING HOT WATER/HEAT TO DO EVERYTHING a lot of people think Haitians are crazy when we tell them we clean/wash our rice 3-4 times before adding it to BOILED water bofl
