FOOD for THOUGHT This morning I went to the DMV-Daly City for my Drivers License Renewal. I was told, if my DL was more than a month expired (and it has been 7 months passed), I have to take a written test for the renewal. To be honest, I had not reviewed anything from the booklet. The whole thing was thought of as, I just have to trust my instincts, thats all! Would I? Yes or No...bahala na! I had on line appointment, so I didnt wait that long. When I got my number for payment prior to the test, in front of the desk officer, he told me This is your temporary DL and youre done. Just wait at least for two weeks for your new DLs. Give this to that lady for your picture and youre done! What? I asked myself, Am done without the test? Oh, what a relief that was! Lord, thank you! were the words that I uttered for the gift of not taking the written test for the renewal of my DL. The Lord really is GOOD...yes, all the time! (A food for thought indeed! [Fr. W])
