FOOLING THE CITIZENS :The worth of MEPs has been reduced to the ability of their offices in mass- producing pq s and 1 minute speeches which are, most times, not even read out in parliament by the MEP! A report in the media tomorrow will show that according to this site I am ranked as the worse MEP of the Maltese delegation!! Yes sir!! This site ranks MEPs on the bases of the number of PQs, 1 minute speeches and 1 line explanation of votes - material usually prepared by his/her parliamentary assistant. The MEP only signs the form! Then these forms are emailed and deposited in the bank of activities of the MEP.... And this is what ranks a good or bad MEP according to .mepranking.eu. (Is it a coincidence that the word PRANK is part of this site?) Evidently I have not mass- produced enough pq s and short stories , so that makes me a bad MEP! The worse one in fact ! If this is not giving misleading information and fooling the citizen of the real worth and of the real work of their MEPs , I do not know what is..... and now I know what my next PQ is going to be!
