FOOLS FOR CHRIST All Christians desire to be a “Fool” for Christ… People who claim to be Fools for Christ are just that...fools. One of the things I like about being a Christian is the absurdity. Basically, it’s just another belief system, and goodness knows plenty of those exist. What’s special about Christianity is how truly foolhardy it is. Christians who want to be “wise” must BECOME “fools” (1 Corinthians 3:18-20)… But then theyll have a problem since fools SHALL NOT stand in the sight of God (Psalm 5:5) Paul’s first letter to Corinth was a rave review of how awesome it is to be a FOOL. We have three (3) different verses in which Paul insists that GOD REALLY LIKES FOOLISH PEOPLE… 1 Corinthians 1:21 (god loves preaching fools) 1 Corinthians 3:18 (in order to be wise, you have to become a fool) and 1 Corinthians 4:10 (religious idiots are wise in Christ). The last one seems to support the idea that science and Christianity are incompatible: “We are fools for Christ’s sake, but ye are wise in Christ.” Are you a “FOOL” for Christ…or just a FOOL?
