FOOTBALL- The Football Association of Malawi will pay a bonus some 500% above the going rate for their players to defeat Nigeria in Calabar today (Saturday). FAM secretary-gener al Suzgho Nyirenda revealed they were offering to pay them MK200,000 (US$500), as against the usual MK30,000 (US$85). "This is way above MK30,000 that is paid by Government as Game bonuses. "The team morale is high and players have promised to put their bodies and souls in the game. "The incentive is a motivation for the players as they battle it out with Nigeria at U.J Esuene Stadium in Calabar.”
