FOOTBALL.. Zongo has now sent a letter of apology to Chippa united.. The letter reads, “It is indeed true that I acted in a manner that jeopardized my relations with my employer (Chippa United FC) when I left the club without notice after the game against Pirates on 30 April 2013. “It is also regrettable that I went to the media and spoke negatively about the club, the intention was not to put Chippa United FC into disrepute nor was it to embarrass the club, at the time I thought I was communicating how I feel, something I have lived to regret to this day.According to proper procedure I should have sat down with my employer and discussed my dissatisfaction instead of involving the media.. “For all the issues stated above I would like to send my deepest apologies. I understand that Chippa United gave me a chance when no one wanted to touch me and for this I will always be grateful. If only I could take back all that went wrong but unfortunately all I can do now is to send my deepest and heartfelt apology.
