FOR COLORADO ACUPUNCTURISTS: Colorado Acupuncture Medical Reserve Corps required training for all volunteers and members coming up on June 8th! FREE COURSE is worth 7 PDAs A one-day training geared towards teaching acupuncturists, NADA certified practitioners and other volunteers how to participate in a CAMRC disaster relief effort. The training will cover the structure of the unit, the mobilization process, the logistics of setting up and operating a mobile disaster relief clinic, the roles a volunteer may find themselves in, as well as information on the NADA protocol itself. The training will conclude with a practical exercise where volunteers are mobilized, a clinic is set up and patients are treated. The course will be held at Southwest Acupuncture College, 6620 Gunpark Drive, Boulder, CO 80301. The CAMRC Training will be held on Sunday June 8th, 9AM – 4:45PM. We will break for lunch from 12:15 to 1 PM. There is NO COST for the training, and all participants will receive 7 PDAs upon completion (pending).
