FOR ELLIOTT. This wonder of music is for my son Elliott, who even at 8 loved this music, he would often beg me to play it for him. How does one express the feelings that this remarkable touching music brings to ones heart and mind, It is just impossible. On your birthday Elliott I went to your house to see you and to give you the gift I had bought. This was hard for me as I knew Cecile, your mother, might call the Police to cause trouble for me, but I was prepared to take that risk.There was no answer at the door, so I guessed you were away on holiday in France. I am so sorry to have missed you my son. I hope you read this message and that you know I think of you everyday, in fact when I awake you are on my mind first thing. I seem to see your smiling loving face everywhere. I love you Elliott and it is a sorry state of affairs that on your birthday that we cannot be together, I know that your mother tells you nothing of me and wants it that way, as if I am out of your life. Please Elliott all that I ask is that you come looking for me in the future, I promise you that I will welcome you with open arms. Do not be afraid just because we have not seen each other for such a long time, time will not destroy my feelings for you and I hope that you feel the same.
