FOR EVERYONE WHO INVESTED IN ISLE THE ISLAND CAT: Well he is - TopicsExpress

FOR EVERYONE WHO INVESTED IN ISLE THE ISLAND CAT: Well he is certainly used to me now but he is still withdrawn in his cage. I still continue to talk and sing to him and I pet him all over and give his scratches under the chin and around the face which he loves as he softly closes his eyes and leans into me when I do. I am writing with tears this moning as I had to release him to the Holding Facility. It was not fare to keep him in a cage. If I were to let him out he would literally hide in my basement. Now over at the HF, he will be exposed to other cats and noises and different people on a daily basis. After a couple of weeks they will open up his kennel and allow him to roam free where there is no where to hide. He will have more exposure to the other cats and eventually learn to play and confide in them. I will visit him everyday and continue to sing and talk with him. If anyone wants to go visit him, do a continual blink when you talk to him so he will not see you as a threat. I know this will help him come out of his shell. We will bring to you updated pics. Kallie Kantos-Fritz will get us some great ones I am sure. Thank you all so much for your support!
