FOR HOW LONG WILL NIGERIANS LIVE WITH THIS POOR MENTALITY OF GREED, SUPERFLUITY MONEY CONSCIOUSNESS AND A HIGH DISPLAY OF LEVITY??. How can the Nigerian Movie Industry (Nollywood) allow the release of this movie EBOLA DOCTORS when the whole world is still in pandemonium of this deadly virus??? ANALYSIS OF EBOLA VIRUS DISEASE... The WHO said on Friday that as of October 8, 4,033 people have died of Ebola out of a total of 8,399 registered cases in seven countries. The last toll put the figures at 3,865 dead from 8,033 cases. A total of 416 health care workers continue to pay a heavy price for their efforts, are among those believed to have contracted Ebola. Of those, 233 of have died, the WHO says. Parents must also have been worried about their children catching it as pediatric visits increased 19.7%. A recent Pew study showed 21% of respondents are somewhat worried about Ebola and their personal health. On 19 August, the Commissioner of Health in Lagos announced that Nigeria had seen twelve confirmed cases; four died (including the index case) while another five, including two doctors and a nurse, were declared disease-free and released. Liberia is the worst-hit of all, with 4,076 cases and 2,316 deaths, followed by Sierra Leone with 2,950 cases and 930 deaths. Guinea, where the epidemic originated in December, has seen 1,350 cases and 778 deaths. All schools in Nigeria have been ordered to remain shut until 13 October as part of measures to prevent the spread of the deadly Ebola virus. But the education minister ordered the closures to allow staff to be trained on how to handle suspected Ebola cases.
