FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 09/15/2014 RELEASED BY: Chief Deputy Steve Hoggard TASK FORCE MAKES MORE HEROIN TRAFFICKING ARRESTS IN KILL DEVIL HILLS On December 09, 2014, officers from the Dare County Narcotics Task Force* arrested two individuals for Trafficking in Heroin at their residence in Kill Devil Hills. Through an ongoing investigation, Task Force officers developed information regarding the individuals allegedly selling Heroin in Dare County. Officers were able to arrest the below suspects when they returned to their residence and were found to be in possession of a trafficking amount of Heroin. Suspect #1: RICKETTS, Erin Leigh, 41, 211 Palmetto Street, Kill Devil Hills Charges: Trafficking in Heroin by Possession (F) Trafficking in Heroin by Transportation (F) Conspire to Traffic in Heroin (F) Committed to the Dare County Detention Center in lieu of $180,000 bond Suspect #2: CRAIN, Shonna Nicole, 34, 211 W. Palmetto St. Kill Devil Hills Charges: Trafficking in Heroin by Possession (F) Trafficking in Heroin by Transportation (F) Conspire to Traffic in Heroin (F) Committed to the Dare County Detention Center in lieu of $180,000 bond
