FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: Kerry Bowers For President Committee Kerry@KerryBowers PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE TO MAKE STOP IN TAMPA BAY AREA Kerry Bowers Meeting Brandon Republicans, Marching in Temple Terrace Parade Tampa, FL, 29 June 2014 – On Tuesday, Kerry Bowers, a 2016 Republican presidential candidate and former resident of Destin, Florida, will make a stop in the Tampa Bay area where he will be introduced to the members of the Greater Brandon Republican Club. Then on Friday, both he and his wife, Deb, will march in the Temple Terrace, 4th of July Parade. The candidate, currently engaged in a 5-month nationwide tour, first entered the State in early June with appearances in Northwest Florida followed by Jacksonville, Clermont, Orlando and Daytona Beach. He will conclude his first campaign visit to the State with a presentation to the Villages TEA Party on 7 July. Bowers, a 30-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force and resident of Henderson, NV, announced his candidacy in a video release on his website, Kerrybowers, in September of last year. He officially entered the race in April of this year after completing the requisites for candidacy and filing with the Federal Election Commission. The candidate’s website identifies his platform theme to be “Restore America’s Blessings,” which he has stated as “those of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; the same endowed by the Creator, battle reclaimed, and secured to every American in our Constitution.” He goes on to say, “however, those blessings have been severely eroded by a departure from the course charted by the Founders that would have guaranteed their preservation from one generation to the next.” Bowers has presented a unique challenge to other presidential candidates with a campaign objective that he calls “Setting the Standard for 2016 Presidential Candidates”; a standard he says, “is one of specificity, not generalities.” To back up his challenge, he has presented a comprehensive platform on his website that includes the objectives, strategies and goals he proposes to navigate the nation back to the Founder’s charted course, one inclusive of a timeline. While on the campaign trail, the candidate has been presenting the basics of his proposals in a message he has titled “Ten Steps To Restore America’s Blessings,” a video of which he has also presented on his website. The Greater Brandon Republican Club meeting will begin at 6:30pm on Tuesday, 1 July at the Farm Bureau, 100 South Mulrennan Rd, Valrico.
