FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Date: 11/23/14 NORTHWEST RAIDERS A.A SENDING 3 TEAMS TO CHALLENGE FOR POP WARNER NATIONAL TITLES Pep Rally & Bracket Selection Party The Northwest Raiders Athletic Association will be hosting a pep at the Lonnie Young Recreation Center at 6:30 PM. The Northwest Raiders AA youth organization a Pop War Little Scholars affiliate are looking for coverage during their Pep Rally and bracket selection party on Monday December 1, 2014 at 6:30 PM. They will be sending 35 young ladies and 25 young men to Orlando, Florida to compete for National titles in both football and cheer. The national competition is being held from December 6-13, 2014. The National Pop Warner super bowl game will be held live on ESPN 2 on December 13, 2014 at 12 noon. The Northwest Raiders have been a valuable instrument in the Germantown community for over 42 years aiding in the mentoring of youth through sports and education. These 60 young ladies and men are looking for financial support in helping them get to Disney to compete. Various fundraisers and grants have been applied for but the getting to the necessary amount goal needed to attend may be few dollars short. Coverage of this event may help them get a donor who is willing to support their efforts. About Northwest Raiders Athletic Association The Northwest Raiders have been in existence since 1971 in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. Providing sports and education assistance to low income and middle class families.
