Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 6PM; Manny’s Mexican & American Restaurant PRESTON DENNARD The Arizona chapter of the So Cal Rams Booster Club will feature a live Guest appearance and autograph session with former Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Preston Dennard, hosted by Manny’s Mexican & American Restaurant. Preston is an alumnus of Marcos De Niza High School in Tempe, Arizona and a graduate of the University of New Mexico. Preston will be available for autographs, and offering for sale memorabilia from his eight year career with the Los Angeles Rams, Buffalo Bills and the Green Bay Packers. For eight years Mr. Dennard was a top-rated National Football League wide receiver. He has been featured in Sports Illustrated, Pro, and numerous other magazines. An outstanding wide receiver with the Los Angeles Rams, Buffalo Bills, and the Green Bay Packers, was named Most Outstanding Receiver and twice nominated N.F.L. Man of the Year. He’s literally “Poetry in Motion!” and has authored a book of poetry. Preston was one of the star receivers in Super Bowl XIV and ABC’s Super Teams. Preston was honored with a Preston Dennard Day receiving the Key to the City of Tempe, Arizona, and an inductee into the New Mexico Hall of Honor and the Albuquerque Sports Hall of Fame. He has worked in the field of sports broadcasting as announcer, news anchor and reporter. A successful professional athlete, businessman and role model, Preston has served on the National Character Counts Leadership Council. He supports these concepts by embodying someone with character and living out the six pillars of character on a daily basis.
