FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Lincoln, NE August 21, 2014 US Senate Debate Welcomes Dan Buhrdorf to Nebraska State Fair Dan Buhrdorf, longtime Lincoln resident running for US Senate as a Tax Wall Street Party candidate, fell short to qualify for the November ballot according to state officials. However, with the broad support of Nebraskans from all walks of life, Buhrdorf has decided to continue his populist message while he and his campaign explore his options moving forward. Buhrdorf took his listening tour across the state, culminating in a press conference that was picked up by not only the local Lincoln Journal-Star, but also the AP wire service and local radio stations that broadcast regionally in four states. With publications from Colorado to Tennessee and from Florida to California, his campaign coverage is now coast-to-coast. At the Nebraska State Fair on August 25, Buhrdorf will take the podium to debate other Senate candidates Ben Sasse, Dave Domina, Jim Jenkins, and Todd Watson. The State Fair Senate Debate, sponsored by the Nebraska Cattlemen and the Rural Radio Network, will be held from 7 – 8 p.m. at the Heartland Event Center. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for attendees. Burhdorf looks forward to giving more Nebraskans a chance to hear his platform, especially the two pillars that sparked the most media interest countrywide: a one percent Wall Street Sales Tax to rebuild infrastructure and using the Federal Reserve as a National Bank for public credit.
