FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE MEDIA STATEMENT MS BOITUMELO MOILOA SWORN IN AS MEMBER OF THE NORTH WEST LEGISLATURE The North West Provincial Legislature welcomes the honourable Boitumelo Annah Moiloa, who was sworn in on Tuesday, 13 August 2013, as a Member of the North West Provincial Legislature. She is replacing the Honourable Veronica Kekesi, who has been appointed as a member of the National Council of Provinces. Honourable Moiloa has been an African National Congress (ANC) activist since her school years in the late 80’s and early 90’s. She served in the South African Communist Party (SACP) as a Treasurer at the Dr. Ruth Segomotsi Mompati. She later served as the ANC Regional Executive Committee (REC) member. In 2011, she was elected as the ANC Provincial Executive Committee member. The Speaker of the Legislature, Hon Supra Mahumapelo, said the Legislature has full confidence in the abilities and commitment of Honourable Moiloa. Her track record in the ANC and in the Mass Democratic Movement sets her apart as a distinguished and a revolutionary of note. Having a revolutionary legislature, she will better advance the aims and objectives of the Legislature and the people of the North West Province.
