FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Mid-America Lightning Sprints (Columbia MO) July 27th 2013 – The Mid-America Lightning Sprints Presented by Jayhawk Millwright is pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement with Montgomery Motorsports Park in Montgomery City Missouri to bring our winged Lightning Sprint car show to this fast and exciting track. The Mid-America Lightning Sprints Presented by Jayhawk Millwright will be supporting Midwest Open Wheel Association (MOWA) After the last two Mid-America Lightning Sprints Presented by Jayhawk Millwright races were cancelled due to Atchison County Raceway cancelling all Saturday shows Mark Billings and Phil Heavelow the founders of Mid-America Lightning Sprints Presented by Jayhawk Millwright went to work putting their heads together to come up with something special as a thank you to the racers who have made this inaugural season a success. We feel we have achieved this by bring our show to a new facility, new fans and supporting one of the fastest growing traveling wing 410 sprint car shows you will see. (MOWA) And did I mention it is guaranteed $1000 to win!! What also makes this a great weekend to race, is that it is a long holiday weekend plus Midwest Lightning Sprints will be hosting the John Heffernon Jr Memorial Race at Valley Speedway in Grain Valley MO the night before our race on Aug. 30th which is guaranteed $750 to win. That is two nights of racing on two different tracks with a possible payday of $1750 to win for both shows. It does not get much better than this as a racer!
