FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ON SAPA WIRES STATEMENT ANC CANDIDATES REGISTERED FOR BY-ELECTIONS IN TLOKWE AND RAMOTSERE MOILOA The ANC in North West will contest all the by-elections that will take place on the 18th September 2013 in Tlokwe and Ramotseri Moiloa. Our candidates in all the wards have been registered and are confirmed by the IEC as ANC candidates. Our preparations for the by-elections have started in earnest and we have commenced with door- to–door campaign, walk abouts and community meetings in all affected wards. All these activities will culminate in a Siyanqoba Rally which will take place on the 15th September 2013, at the Ikageng Stadium. We call upon all members and supporters of the ANC and our Alliance partners to ensure an overwhelming victory for the ANC in these by-elections. The ANC notes media reports that there are members of the ANC who might have registered as independent candidates. The ANC will investigate such allegations with the IEC and will be guided by the ANC Constitution, particularly Rule 25.
