FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE On 12 December 2014, Daron The Detroit Superstar Cruickshank was injured in the second round of his fight against KJ Noons in UFCs TUF 20 Finale, held in the Palms Resort & Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada. The unintentional foul (eye poke/scratch) resulted in a No Contest. Daron Cruickshank was diagnosed tonight with a torn duct in his left eye. This injury will require surgery, a procedure which Cruickshank will undergo later today (13 December 2014) in Las Vegas, Nevada. While Daron remains positive and optimistic of a speedy return to the octagon, he sends his apologies to the fans for not getting a full fight. He is currently resting for the procedure. Daron, his family, team, and friends are grateful for all of the positive messages being received at this time. When more information is available, it will be released.
