FOR: PD, BATANGAS PPO FM: ACOP, TANAUAN CITY PS CN: TCPSIDMS-13-1129- 1. SUBJECT: Shooting Incident 2. VICTIM: Ramon Garcia (MNU), 32 years old (born on December 31, 1981), single, jobless and presently residing at Sitio Bukluran. RR Alley Brgy Darasa, Tanauan City, Batangas. 3. SUSPECT: Unidentified 4. NARRATIVE: On or about 1:00 AM of November 29, 2013, a telephone call from Daniel Mercado Medical Center (DMMC) Tanauan City was received by Tanauan CPS informing that a male person sustaining gunshot wounds was brought and being treated thereat. Elements of said Station and duty investigators were dispatched to verify the veracity of the report. Initial investigation disclosed that on or about 12:30 AM of November 29, 2013, the victim was walking along RR Alley Sitio Bukluran Brgy Darasa, Tanauan City, Batangas. Upon reaching the place of incident, suspect suddenly appeared from the dark portion in front of him and at close range, without any apparent reason, shot the victim several times on different parts of his body. Victim sustained gunshot wounds and was rushed to the aforesaid hospital for treatment while the suspect fled on foot towards undisclosed direction with the firearm used. After a few minutes of treatment at DMMC, victim was declared dead by attending physician, Dr. Rogelio Pagador. Recovered evidence was one piece of deformed slug for unknown caliber 5. STATUS OF THE SUSPECT: At Large 6. STATUS OF THE CASE: Under Investigation. 7. OFFICER ON CASE: P03 Rowell M Maala (09166709364) and PO2 Rene L Montecalvo Jr (09173093243) 8. ACTION TAKEN: Follow up investigation was still conducted by elements of said Station for possible identification of the suspect/s and motive behind his killing. The recovered piece of evidence will be turned over to Regional Crime Laboratory Service 4-A Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba City, Laguna for ballistic examination.
