We need the classrooms and we have to clear and clean them. Use the time to prepare for a possibly 2-3 days of seclusion from bad elements. Also safe to go home to Masbate, Catanduanes, Sorsogon and to distant areas of Albay. All levels. All areas. All types. Classes are suspended tomorrow until lifted. *My 3rd advice is forgive your neighbours since you will be staring at each other for a long time in the evacuation. Most likely, they have the bawang and luya you need while you only have kamatis for ginisang sardines. Also reconcile with your partners or family since you will be stuck in the same house and must share in the chores. Kiss and make-up talaga. *My fourth advice is for middle class and working class families with houses built of strong materials and located in low risk areas - stay home. Make sure you have 5kgs of rice, 15 instant noodles and 9 canned goods. Dont forget the traditional items in a survival kit esp. flashlights with battery, power bank charger and modest load. Avail of 3-day unli packages tomorrow. *My fifth advise is government employees in Albay must not go to work so they can take care of their family preparations. Exceptions: a. those direct engaged in disaster response esp in the AFP, PNP, DOH, OCD in the national government and PHO, hospitals, Apsemo, PGSO and PEO and those units of LGUs as determined by their LCES b. those who requested prior and continuing exemption like BIR and BSP. It is understood that they will do it ahead or ask others to do it for them. I also strongly persuade the private sector to dismiss their employees after lunch. ~Albay Governor Joey Sarte Salceda~
