FOR SALE - Emugully Digger James (‘James’) James is a 3 year-old, 14:3 hands Heritage Stock Horse (Reg No 198588) with lovely conformation and impressive Waler ancestry, which can be traced back to the Battle of Beersheba. It’s because of these bloodlines that the Aust Stock Horse Society designates him as a Heritage Stock Horse. By Anzac Digger and out of Penta Bonny, James is from the renowned Emgully Stock Horse Stud near Toowoomba. We purchased him as a yearling in 2013, with Hugh breaking him in later that year. Because of time pressure with clients, James has not been shown extensively. But at his first outing, he scored well and placed in both dressage tests at a local competition. James is very responsive to leg and seat aids and has a good mouth. He is reliable and consistent, showing huge potential for any discipline. Very easy to handle in the paddock or stable, he poses no problems with shoeing, dentistry, floating or worming. His Hendra and tetanus & strangles vaccinations are up to date. On the personality side, James loves some TLC. He is a bit cheeky but tends not to be the dominant horse amongst others. Recently we’ve spotted him campdrafting wallabies and magpies in his paddock!
