FOR SALE, due to no fault of his own. ‘Benny’ 7yr old thoroughbred gelding, 15’2 hands - Hendra Vaccinated - Worming and tetanus up-to-date - Never raced - Good strong teeth and feet (has 2 front shoes on at the moment) - Quiet and well mannered when having his feet/teeth done - An absolute gem on the ground; he will walk straight up to you in the paddock no need for chasing him round to catch him, will follow you around like a puppy, has dogs walking around him and is fine with it. - Quiet to ride on the beach, on the roads, cane fields and in the bush - He is not nasty to any other horses in the paddock or when ridden - I have not had the opportunity to take benny out to events etc. however he has been used as a trail riding and mustering horse, he has been working the bending poles and barrels pattern and seems keen to learn. - Does not bolt, Bite etc. - Ride him bareback, in a saddle, back-to-front, with a dog on his back, double on him; he is happy to plod around with you however you choose - Rides alongside the quadbike or car with the dogs running beside him too - Can be kept in the paddock for long periods of time and is still great to ride - Floats fine, some days he will self load, other days he needs to be coached on with food. - Benny has had a beginner learn on him.
