FOR THE MOST PART ..there are 3 kinds of listeners in church: 1. casual listeners 2. convinced listeners 3. committed listeners 1. Casual listeners are usually seeking,learning,contemplating whats being said, and absorbing new info. Just checking things out. open but not willing to commit to anything yet. 2. Convinced listeners are those that are in full agreement for the most part of what is being preached/taught, they nod their head yes and may even say amen. These are church attenders. These are believers that may or may not want to get involved in the life of the church/ministry for different reasons, but for whatever reason they havent. 3. Committed listeners are those that are F.A.T. - F is for Faithful: to Gods Word,Gods people, & Gods Mission - A is for Available: made a a conscious decision to reorganize their lives around gospel ministry. Not too busy to help others. - T is for Teachable: made a decision to commit themselves to the process of discipleship by allowing themselves to learn from others with a heart of humility and a willingness to take instruction without being easily offended.
