GED or High School Diploma is NO LONGER required... Position is for 2nd shift from 3:30pm to 2am - 6 days a week. Responsible for maintaining product quality while performing operations. Duties include transfer printing, bulb set, precision soldering, hand hot-melt, spot-weld, cell operator, cell floater, wire cut/strip machine, molding, tape wrap, eyelet, wire terming, stripping, cutting, splicing. Responsible for SPC charting and interpreting Blue Prints. Operators must be able to sit and or stand all day (up to 10 hours), manually lift and carry up to 50 lbs, push/pull containers of wire/cable, which may weigh up to several hundred lbs. (on dollies - not dead weight), rotate to various assignments involving various working conditions within the job description. Perform high and low repetition jobs, perform fine manipulation, firm grasping, and firm cutting. Work through a range of motions from ground level up to and including above shoulder height, bend and twist at the waist.
