FOR THOSE WHO PLAN TO JOIN IN THE FUN THIS SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4TH, PLEASE READ: Tampa Cruis A Cade Club’s 1st Annual Poker Run is on Saturday, October 4th from 1 PM - 8PM. Our registration starts at noon so we asked that you be there a little early to register and pick up your welcome packets and wristbands. You will need to wear your wristbands to all locations in order to receive your drink specials. The Poker Run will go on rain or shine (in case of extreme weather, alternatives will be announced at Captains meeting) from 1 PM – 8 PM with registration starting at noon. We are still taking pre registrations online and the day of event. Our Itinerary is as follows: •10 AM – 11:45 AM - Boat Launching – If you are launching at TCCC, please have boats launched and ready before registration starts – Please check tides to determine launch times •Noon - Registration •12:45 PM - Announcements followed by the Captains meeting •1 PM – Start of Poker Run •1 PM – 5 PM – Pick up Poker Cards from participating locations •Pig Roast - Food will be available around 4:30 PM •6 PM – Need to be back at TCCC - Announcement of winning hand and drawing of raffle prizes Poker Card Pick Up Locations: •Your welcome packet will contain a map of all participating locations •TCCC and the Sail Pavilion are both located on the Hillsborough and Rivers Edge, Dixie Dockside and the Beer Shed are all located along the Alafia River. •Our Rear Commodore, Brian Richardson will go over this map and will answer any questions you have at the Captains meeting. •The Alafia River locations are all located on the south side of the River. Again, this information will be discussed at the Captains meeting. •Drink Specials for participants with wristbands only Game Rules: •Poker cards will be in sealed envelopes and our volunteers will be giving out one card at each participating location. •ALL cards are to be left SEALED until they are opened by our judge at TCCC. •If an envelope has been opened, that card will NOT be played. •A cash prize for the best hand. •If there is more than one winning hand, a winner will be determined by playing for the highest card drawn. •Buy in for extra hands will be available for $5 each hand (5 cards) at the time of registration only, so be sure to have extra money for extra playing hands and raffles. •No limit to # of hands played Important Information: •Your registration includes your welcome packet with (1) wristband, (1) food ticket, (1) hand of poker cards – each card will be given out at each location for a total of (5) cards and a few pieces of pirate treasures. •You have the option of going by boat, car or bike so you can visit our other participating locations to receive your poker cards. •If you are arriving by boat, please let us know. We need an accurate count in order to make room on our docks •If youre launching your boat at TCCC, please be there early to launch. •There will be volunteers on the grounds assisting with launching and parking. •This is not a race or a scheduled run. You will be able to visit each location at your own leisure as long as you are back at TCCC for announcements. •Pet friendly – Please pick up after your pet, keep all pets on a leash and leave unfriendly pets at home. •If you plan to visit the other participating locations with your pet, please check for updated pet requirements Food and Drink: •This is a BYOB event at TCCC grounds only – Drink specials will be available only for participants with wristbands •Pig Roast – Food will be available at 4:30 – Plate includes: Pork or chicken, Yuka, black beans and rice, cabbage and Cuban bread •Extra food tickets available for $10 per person •Sodas, bottled water and Boiled Peanuts (Cajun and Plain)will be available for purchase •Bagged ice - $1 bag Entertainment: •Live music by Will Roc More Music Group Featuring C. Boogie and DJ Stryke • Raffle tickets available for $1 or 6 tickets for $5 Non Poker Run Participants: •Food tickets are available for $10 per person •BYOB on TCCC grounds only •No cover charge to enjoy entertainment •Raffle tickets also available to non – participants •$10 fee to access boat ramp if launching boats Remember to make sure your navigation lights are operable if traveling by boat and always designate a sober driver.
