FOR WHATEVER IT MEANS....I JUST GOT BACK FROM THE FREMONT FAIR BOARD MEETING...AND HERE IS MY TAKE ON THE EVENING! 1. Normally this board has 25 on the board present and maybe 5 visitors who attend the meetings....but tonight...according my crude count...I counted nearly 30 board members and nearly 90 race fans present...and they completely changed the tone of that meeting. Take note race fans...you must get more involved with your racetrack on this level if you are to enjoy racing as you have in the past!!....CONGRATS TO THOSE SCORES OF FANS WHO SHOWED UP TONIGNT...YOU MADE A BIG DIFFERENCE! 2. RICH FARMER DID A GOOD JOB TONIGHT...STATED HIS CASE WELL with no edge in his voice... which is not easy to do during meetings like this...Id give him an A+! 3. An old gripe of mine was evident again to night...years ago when the fair board allowed that place to have a race track...it was on the edge of town...now decades later...people who have recently moved into the area...and now are the ones who are complaining about the sound...same deal around Millstream her in Findlay...which annoys me to no end...for obvious reason! ALL IN ALL...ITHOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD MEETING...AND SOMETHING TO BUILD ON AS WE LOOK AT THE FUTRE....GOOD JOB FREMONT SPEEDWAY!
