FOSTER CARE / DIRECT ADOPTION REQUIRED FOR LENNON I was very reluctant to share these pics because well.... Ive met my nemesis with this clown boy (so obviously, Ill be giving him to Ruth to photograph mwahahaa). In all fairness I think once he is out of the pound he will be more focused. Preliminary findings, which will change and/or be expanded upon should he come into care: - When I first met him on Saturday I entered his kennel.... he immediately sat and offered me his paw in greeting without being asked. Once I shook it he jumped up gently to wrap his arms around me and give me kisses. Little shit had me hooked, the soft sap I am. - He is extremely treat motivated and puts on the face of an angel to receive as many as you have. Then wants more. - Take him outside and he reveals much more about who he really is - hes equal parts goof, clown and a confident boy who tries his best to get away with too much. Until you put him in his place and let him know youre calling the shots - he does a double take and then immediately stops, with a rather shameful expression on his face. Rascal. - On lead he is all over the shop, most being excitement at being out and about. Certainly not the worst walked ever. - Inside his kennel he is no issues with his neighbours or dogs being walked past. If he sees a dog on the outside being walked he will whine because hes not the one out there. - Walking him up and down the block he approached everyone confidently and with a tail wag. A bit of a delayed reaction, but did not back down from those having a go at him (no malice, more noise) - very easy to divert away from them. Would need more evaluation with small dogs though. - Perhaps more people than dog centric. - Best suited to breed experienced owners. Unfortunately without a committed carer we are unable to take any more into care (we have committed to one other from another pound already). If you can foster him for us please fill in our foster application found at: abrinc.org.au/index.php/forms/foster Better yet why not adopt direct from Renbury Farm, 402 Bringelly Rd Austral NSW (near Liverpool)
