FOSTER SOS! Has been given the temporary name of “Libby”. She still needs a foster. Rescuer can not keep Libby, they live on upstairs balcony apartment. She is 32 lb young female shepherd mix. This girl is very well mannered, potty trained, and a very polite houseguest. She has recently been spayed but is oddly not microchipped. She is great with the family’s cats, and not at all aggressive. She is a very nice girl and we think she would get along fine with other dogs, though the rescuer does not have any, she is non-reactive to other dogs while on a walk. She was found Webber & Lincoln by DMV in Downtown Stockton on Friday, Dec 26th. If you can help please message your contact info: email, phone number, mailing address. You can also call the sanctuary at 209-365-0535. We recommend you live within convenient driving distance to Lodi for vaccinations and adoption appointments. We do ask you have a securely fenced backyard. AFC will provide any medical expenses. We will require name of vet who performed the spay as a means of owner verification, as well as photos, ect. If no owner found, AFC will promote for adoption and handle any adoption. This can be several weeks, or couple of months. Hard to predict how long of a placement this will be. If an owner comes forward could be short term placement, but there are a lot of shepherds in this area that are needing new homes. Note: Buddy the Border Collie is safely tucked away in his new foster home.
