FOUR TRAINS OF EASTERN RAILWAY GET ISO 9001:2008 CERTIFICATE For the first time in Eastern Railway four of its trains have got ISO 9001:2008 Certificate. These Asansol based trains are 12361/12362 Asansol- Mumbai Express, 12375/12376 Asansol- Chennai Express, 13507/13508 Asansol- Gorakhpur Express and 13509/13510 Asansol- Gonda Express . It is indeed a landmark as Asansol division is used to be famous for freight services but now it will be known for passenger service also. The work has been done without any consultant and all the documents related to ISO have been prepared by Coaching Complex, Asansol group itself in a record time. Indeed, this is the first time in Indian Railways, when any work related to ISO Certification has been done successfully without any consultant. The credit goes to the devotion of Coaching Complex employees and Officers. Shri S. S. Gehlot, Divisional Railway Manager, Asansol, appreciated the work of the employees of Coaching Complex, Asansol and congratulated all the staff and concerned officers of this division. He has said that it was a big achievement for the Asansol Division of Eastern Railway and a proven mark of efficiency of its coaching staff and Officers.
