FOUR WAYS TO EXPERIENCE THE GRACE AND GLORY OF OPEN HEAVENS IN THE JEWISH FOURTH MONTH OF TAMMUZ (1) Thursday, 26 Tammuz, 5774 = Thursday, July 24, 2014 “Prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it” (Malachi 3:10). To experience the grace and glory of open heavens in the Jewish fourth month season of Tammuz and beyond, you must: 1. SET YOUR AFFECTIONS ON THINGS ABOVE: “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God” (Colossians 3:1-3). 2. DILIGENTLY OBEY THE VOICE OF THE LORD AND HIS COMMANDMENTS: “And it shall come to pass, if thou shall hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth. The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shall lend unto many nations, and thou shall not borrow” (Deuteronomy 28:1, 12). 3. PRAY WITHOUT CEASING: “And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened” (Luke 11:9-10). 4. ENGAGE IN THE FAST OF THE FOURTH MONTH: “Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace” (Zechariah 8:19). KEY PRAYER FOCUS 1. ASK FOR THE GRACE TO APPROPRIATE THE BLESSINGS OF THE FOURTH MONTH: “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness…” (2 Corinthians 12:9). 2.
