FOX (A10252222) ****ELDERLY GENTLEMAN NEEDS YOU TONIGHT**** In one 4 day period, sweetie pie Fox was brought to sit in a cage at Brooklyn ACC, had an intrusive intake medical exam, a behavioral eval and now sits on tomorrow’s euthanasia list! This gorgeous 7 year old has gotten rave reviews from all of the ACC staff who have met him… “very playful and affectionate” by the intake staff; “When he has a visitor to his kennel, his tail starts wagging non-stop and will show his appreciation of your company with some barks and kisses!” by ACC staff who care for him. Even behavioral assessor found him to be friendly! So why is he on tomorrow’s kill list and why is he New Hope Only? He wasn’t sick when he got there and he’s still not sick. He didn’t like that hand moving his food around but he did just fine on all the other behavioral items. Maybe ACC doesn’t think anybody would want an older dog who is not perfect—you see, Fox is totally blind in one eye! But that sure doesn’t stop him from being the social, happy dog he is. Tonight, Fox needs one person out there who is ready for a grown up dog who loves to play and run and just be around humans. No doubt he may get a little scared if he’s approached roughly from his blind side, but all he wants to do is give kisses! If you’re the one for Fox, start working with rescues to foster or adopt him. He is so full of life—so happy go lucky—but at noon tomorrow, ACC won’t hesitate to take him to that room from which no dog ever returns. https://facebook/Urgentdeathrowdogs/photos/a.611290788883804.1073741851.152876678058553/942600432419503/?type=3&theater
