FOX21 News #homecoming #video: 155 #Soldiers welcomed home to U.S. Army Fort Carson -- About 20 #Soldiers returned home to #FortCarson Saturday afternoon. The 242nd Explosive Ordnance Disposal deployed in July 2013 to Afghanistan. The team conducted 850 incidents, clearing 115,000 pounds of explosive hazards, helping to protect coalition forces and Afghan civilians. A second homecoming of 135 #Army members of the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team of the 4th Infantry Division was held at 9 p.m. Saturday. Those #USArmy Soldiers were returning from a nine-month deployment to Kuwait. After a year of hard work, these men and women were overjoyed to return to their loved ones.
