FQ: FTM, 23, 28 weeks pregnant: I sent in a question last week - TopicsExpress

FQ: FTM, 23, 28 weeks pregnant: I sent in a question last week about the 3 hour gestational diabetes test. Well, unfortunately, I failed mine by about 6 points. I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and have to watch what I eat and test my sugar twice a day. I have been doing some reading, and it seems like a lot of women with this diagnosis dont get to have vaginal births or are induced early. I get extremely emotional now at the thought of having to have a C-section or having my little girl before shes ready just because they think she will be too big. If there is a real medical reason, I can reconcile with it, but I know my doctor is going to push me to induce or have a C-section. Are there any women that were able to give birth naturally with GD, and if not, how did you deal with it? I find myself crying about it every day. ~4
