FQ: Hello! I am a ftm at 18 weeks. I had the AFP test done a few days ago and it came back positive. The nurse said my baby boy has a 1 out of 84 chance of having Down Syndrome. She also told me that this test has a lot of false positives and she would only worry if it was like a 1 out of 15 chance. So I had the panorama test done today which will take 2 weeks to come back. My question is, has any other mommies heard of the AFP test being non-accurate and having a lot of false positives? ~4
