FQ: Hello i am 5 weeks pregnant for a whole year now ive been dealing with my food getting stuck in my chest and acid reflux. I can only eat very small meals ive lost 20lbs. Now that im pregnant i need nutrience for my baby how can i get that if im barely eating? I think my esophagus may be narrowed i cant even swallow and keep down ensure shakes so my q to u all is.. Is it possible to have an edoscopy and possibly a procedure called esophagus dialation where they dialate the esophagus to allow food to pass? The procedure requires sedation my doc already told me i have low blood pressure issues even before i got pregnant help! Im scared have any of u ever been sedated while pregnant and/or had an endoscopy done? ~5
