FQ: Hello, my son has been ebf for almost 7 weeks. And weve had our ups and downs. I do not think he is getting enough from me because theres times he will eat for a few minutes then be fine and want to eat 30min later. Anyway, weve decided to start supplementing to help fill his tummy. However with this being new Im curious whats the best way to go about it. Do I bf him then give him another ounce or two if hes still hungry to fill his tummy at night, or do I give him 2-3 feedings a day of just formula. My ultimate goal is to be able to do half and half so that I can go back to work a few nights a week or if hubby and I want a night out I dont need to stress about pumping a ton of breast milk. And please no suggestions on boosting supply Ive already tried a few things and Im taking fenugreek to help. Thanks. ~5
